Rainy ride.

I went for a ride to Bolton last night to collect a pair of trousers. When I set off, the clouds looked grey, but I figured it would be worth the risk. To say I got wet is an under-statement - it was however, another one of those rides that make you feel great about being alive. I rarely broke 25mph, but the views of the sun breaking through the dark sky were amazing. I still prefer the dry sunny rides, but last night was brilliant!

Went for a run with a few friends in to the Yorkshire Dales. Had one of the best rides yet. The roads are amazing - smooth and winding with amazing views.

Sunday afternoon run.

Had a good run out on Sunday afternoon. The bike is super great on the A roads, but seems to scream on the motorway. I'm still really enjoying it, but when I change bike next time, I'm pretty certain ill go for a bigger cc to smooth it out on long runs. Ended up in Eastham in the Wirral at a biker pub - live music and sunshine along with a ton of nice bikes.

Cat and Fiddle A537

Had a run over the A537 to Buxton this morning and have to say that it was one of the best rides I've had so far. The road is known for accidents due to over enthusiastic riders throwing bikes into walls etc, but if ridden at sensible speeds, its a blast. Stopped at the Cat and Fiddle pub for a break and met up with another biker, who just like me was out for a quick spin in the sun - nice chap. Just got home - shower, shave and then another day at the office. :)

Like new.

We'll, not new, but its bloody clean. I've washed and polished it to within an inch of its life and then started again with another wash. If there are clouds in the sky, this bike won't be getting to see them.

Work work work.

Decided to take the bike to work this morning instead of the car. I can at least look at it through the window while I'm working and make plans for where the next outing will take me. Isle of Man is defo on the cards, but before then, I think I'd like to take a leisurely trip up to the lake district. Oh well, back to work.
