This is what Havana is all about. Amazing buildings that are in a poor state of repair. This country once had it all - and in some respects, they still do.
Another wonderful buildng is the Capital building. Well worth a visit.
This is the International Hotel in Havana. It is THE most beautiful hotel I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. For such a poor country, this was really impressive.
Just been on holiday to Cuba. What a wonderful place! Posting a few pictures.

Photo is blurred, but you can almost see the sofa.. And look at that wonderful oak flooring.
First things first - tv in place and fire up the xbox. (Note - wires will be hidden when the plumber brings his core cutter to put the hole in the wall :) )
Lounge floor is in place - kids now have a clean room to chill out in!

Panoramic of the lounge in its present state. Wallpaper is up and painted - all gloss work is done - just flooring and a few small jobs need finishing. Oh and we need curtains / blinds - the doors and newspaper are only there to give us a little privacy :)
New lights are also up and running now.
Tv is now mounted on the wall. Cables still need routing through the wall so they're out-of-site, but its working and looking great!
